Thank you for your interest in the FREE LIFE CHURCH (FLC) Worship Team. Jesus is our greatest desire, and we worship to lift Him up and magnify what He accomplished on the cross. We believe the songs we worship with are not just music with lyrics. They are avenues through which the Holy Spirit can touch a person’s heart and change their life in a single moment. As a team member, you will be leading people into an atmosphere charged with the presence of God.
Joining FLC’s Worship Team is a big commitment to the Church. There will be a time commitment to practicing with the team Sunday morning’s at 9am, commitment to practicing your vocal part(s) and/or instrument(s) throughout the week, commitment to nurture and develop your gifts continually, commitment to being punctual on Sunday mornings for practice, commitment to being a part of the community of the Church, and most importantly, committed to growing in Christ.
If you haven’t already, please take time to pray about whether this ministry is where God is leading you to serve before auditioning. In addition, being a part of the team requires Godly character. We are leading people to worship Jesus; therefore your life must be lived in a manner worthy of the Gospel. None of us are perfect. But real, authentic fruits of the Spirit should be growing in your heart. The commitment that is required can be stressful at times; therefore everyone must be able to communicate in an effectively humble and considerate manner.
Please complete the following application and click “SUBMIT” for P. Lisa to review. Completion of this application does not guarantee participation in the worship team. Once this application is submitted, and if it is accepted and approved, you will also be required to sit for an easy interview/ audition with P. Lisa Dean (don’t worry, it won’t be stressful)!
This way we can evaluate your musical gifting, and further expound the vision, mission, and desire of FLC. The pastors of FREE LIFE CHURCH will decide your acceptance into the team. After acceptance, if for any reason the pastors feel you are not meeting the requirements set forth for the team, you may be asked to step down for a season or permanently.
Thank you for your interest, and we pray you will become a part of the FLC worship team.
